At the end of June The Vocal Group Village Community Choir sang as guests at the Heald Green Festival. The sun was scorching down and the crowds drove in by the thousand to what was to be a very successful event. There were stalls and exhibition stands for the adults and Amusement rides for the kids.
The local Bramhall, Marple and Heald Green Community Choirs sang in the outdoor arena and the inside Community Hall and were very well received by the watching public who were even caught singing and dancing along to the popular tunes that the choir were performing. All in all a fantastic day out and hopefully the sun will shine on us again next year.
