May saw the Bramhall Village Community Choir sing in Bramhall Park for the Rotary’s annual duck race. More than a thousand people descended on the park grounds near Bramall Hall and there were hundreds of stalls and displays for passers by.

The event was a huge success and helped raise much needed funds for local charities such as the Mercian Regiment. The Bramhall Village Community Choir entertained the crowds with their renditions of contemporary songs such as Dancing Queen, Lean on Me and California Dreamin’ before the ducks took centre stage to race for their lives. We look forward to another ‘quacking’ event next year.
