A regular gathering of a local Alzheimer’s Society group has seen first hand the health benefits that singing can bring. The Vocal Group founder Neil Firth has started to run singing workshops for a small group of upto 30 Alzheimer’s/Dementia sufferers and they are all thrilled at how much fun these sessions have been.

Singing is well documented to help the brain recall melodies and words to popular songs and this latest group have enjoyed every minute of singing together.

Taking place in a friendly environment, the workshops are aimed at being fun and informative while helping people build confidence while singing to their heart’s content.
